My Uncle was a Sergeant in the RAF & at 19 lost his life in a Halifax in 1942 & when I realised that I could get a badge specific to our families loss, I ordered a few for them all - lovely piece & got admiring comments when worn.
Very pleased.

Great quality great that the forgotten Halifax has been added to the usual WW2 aircraft.
Glyn E.
I wore it at Elland Cenotaph when I laid a wreath for the Rotary club of Elland.
I chose the Halifax Bomber as I was born in Halifax and live there now.

Ordered, almost immediately shipped, arrived the day before remembrance Day and what a gift. Customer service was awesome, good follow up and made me feel like they wanted my business. Quality? Got a lot more for my money than I was hoping for. Recommend this company and this product.
Thank you again Steph

Having the Halifax on the poppy gives us the opportunity to to tell people about my Dads time in the RAF both in Singapore before the war , my Mum having to evacuate when Japan invaded , my sister born on the troop ship home the route Dad took to get back to England and back home again,. With our time living in a caravan at the edge of Riccall aerodrome then to Holme-on-Spalding-Moor what a lovely life we had as children.

I love this poppy and Halifax, as my father flew in these during WWII. I had endless people admiring it and asking where I'd got it, and it gave me the excuse to talk about my dad, who is no longer with us. Thank you
Mr D.
It was extra special displaying a poppy with my Dads Halifax at the Cenotaph.
Great quality and a worthy cause.

My dad was a warrant officer flight engineer on a Halifax. Although he was in many the Halifax was always his favourite. He would love this badge, he was so proud of his plane and I am so proud of him. I wear it proudly to honour him and all the friends he lost.

As a member of the 102 (Ceylon) Squadron Association to find a poppy pin with the Halifax on was amazing.

One of the badges was O.K.
The other one came with the pin separated from the actual badge.
I have managed to glue it back on & only hope that it remains stuck.

Delivered quickly and efficiently

My uncle flew in and was killed over Germany in January 1943. He had been in bomber command since 1939, first in Wellington's he had already completed the number of raids to allow him to step down but wouldn't split the crew. The poppy I got depicts a Halifax bomber which was a rear gunner when he was killed.
Nigel D.
Badge is great pin is rubbish
Mrs H S.
Very nice, well made badge, I shall be proud to wear. Delighted to see other RAF aeroplanes instead of the usual Lancaster and Spitfire.

This was bought for my husband to commemorate his father who was shot down in a Halifax in France. His leg was badly damaged and was amputated by a German doctor in France. When he was recovered enough he was taken to stalag luft 3 where he spent the rest of the war.
Helen M.
I bought four of these badges last year for myself and siblings as our father flew a Halifax bomber during WWII. My nephew’s were so enamoured by them they kept borrowing their dad’s so I placed a repeat order which means we can all proudly wear our own Halifax Bomber poppy badge come November this year and in years to come.

I and my two brothers each bought this Halifax Poppy last year, in commemoration of our Father who was a Flight Engineer with 78 Squadron in WW 11. My son was so impressed with it and the reminiscing by his Grandfather (when he was alive), that I have bought him his own, which he wore with pride.

Loved it but unfortunately pin broke after only a couple of days. Still had proud of place next to picture of my father who served for years since 60's. How about Shackleton next time. Flown in them and they did brilliant service!!
Steve G.
Great to find a poppy badge I can wear on any situation, especially since it celebrates the Halifax.
Now I can just make a donation direct each year.
JEAN-MARC S.

Very good quality and a marvellous charity and proud to wear my Halifax/poppy badge as are both charities desert supporting. I did think the postage was a a lot and would have preferred to pay less postage but more to the association. I am thankful to the association for the help to my mother and proud of the service my father gave in Halifax during the war.
Stephen P.
It arrived on time but was a little bit bigger than I anticipated but overall the quality was excellent and I wore it with immense pride

Although this was the most expensive Poppy tribute I have purchased, it is also the most unique and aesthetically pleasing.
Rachel C.
Love it
Elizabeth S.
The brooch was much nicer in real life than in the catalogue. I was attracted to it because it was not the usual Lancaster but a Halifax which my Uncle flew in during the war as the flight engineer.
Harold B.
This is a beautiful Halifax Poppy Broach that is a joy to wear. The quality is excellent.
John W.
Excellent badge of an aircraft that is often forgotten.

James D.
A lovely, quality item. I'm proud to be seen in public wearing it in memory of my Dad and an Uncle who passed too young in WWII, and who I never got the chance to meet.

Looking forward this being back in stock - we recently discovered that my mums 1st cousin, flight Engineer Sgt Walter, was lost at sea in Sept 1943 on his way back from a raid over Hanover - it would be a lovely way to remember him.
Lest we Forget
Elaine C.
I can't wait for these to be back in stock so I can purchase one for myself and one for my Grandson.
My Father was a rear gunner on Halifax's during the war, and it will be wonderful to have a poppy commemorating this plane.
Stephen S.
love the badge not happy with the pin at back
Mary J.
Thrilled to receive the Halifax poppy pins, one for my daughter and one for myself. I’ve been hoping for a long time for a Halifax tribute item but the Lancaster always seems to be more popular. However I’m sure that just like myself there are lots of Halifax enthusiasts out there. Hoping to see other Halifax items for sale in the not too distant future.

I volunteer on a steam railway and I had many great comments particularly the connection with the Halifax bomber. My uncle was a gunner and was shot down over Germany and bailed out of his Halifax. He spent time in Stalag Luft III and was on the long march.
Ken V.
I purchased the Halifax badge in memory of my uncle Sgt Kenneth Clark, flight engineer on LV798, who perished on 16/02/1944. The aircraft took a hit which caused the undercarriage to lower. This caused an increase in drag and fuel consumption. Nearing the English coast the pilot told the crew to bail out, unfortunately they all landed in the sea and drowned.

Very pleased to buy a Halifax item. Nearly everything I find relates to the Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane.
