As I am of an age where my Father and Father in Law were both enlisted in WW2. My Father in the army (Sword beach 6th June) and my Father in Law RAF (Lancaster Radio operator). Both now passed. Father 71, Father in Law 97.
Along with all of my Uncles except 1 (coal miner) were all in the services, soldiers, sailors & Airman. Also 2 auntie's Army & RAF.
For me this is why I proudly wear the badge.
