Being a veteran means as much to me now as it did when I was a serving member HM Armed Forces. I can only try to comprehend what it must have been like in conflicts where many did not return home to their loved ones. The term ‘We must Remember Them’ must live on in generations to come and I wear my veterans badge with honour.

Proud to wear my badges. My dad did 30yrs and 2days. Served at El Alamein with Monty. He trained at RAF HALTON. We lived all over including Germany. Last camp was RAF UPWOOD. I left school and had the prestige job as a Batman on the camp till January67 when I moved to RAF HALTON to do training in Aircraft electrics and instruments. 211 entry. Moved to RAF NEWTON then to RAF LINTON ON OUSE. Certainly makes you a better person. My sister got me the Vulcan badge for Xmas. Feel proud showing the badges off. Thank you.

I served very proudly in the Royal Air Force for 25 years and before I was married and had a family the Royal Air Force was my family. I wear any insignia and clothing purchased from the Web site with tremendous pride rendering the wonderful years the service gave me.
