My father was in the RAF and he was an Aircraft Mechanic on the Mosquito in the early 1950's. He passed away just before my daughter was born. I loved the the design of the badge and thought it a nice way for her Grandad to be in her thoughts. Fantastic badge great quality.

I purchased the RAF Poppy for Veterans Day 2023. My husband is a veteran of 36 years here in USA His RAF WWII pilot buddy Colin Bell in the UK trained pilots in America and we wear it in his honor.

Basically, since I made the Airfix model of the mosquito in the 1960s- I liked the unique wooden design. The idea of a popppy badge is marvellous.

The poppy is well made & looks great on my jacket. The pin is secure.
